Russia and China’s trade turnover is expected to reach $240 billion by the end of 2024, according to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev told reporters.
Medvedev stated that despite facing opposition and sanctions from Western countries, particularly the Anglo-Saxon world, bilateral trade between the two nations remains strong.
The trade turnover between the two countries shows that the plans agreed upon by the presidents will be carried out. This also indicates that sanctions on Russia and tariff restrictions on China are not having the intended impact, Medvedev added.
