China issues 10t yuan in new loans in 4-month

China’s central bank data revealed that new yuan-denominated loans totalling 10.06 trillion yuan (equivalent to approximately $1.39 trillion) were issued in the first four months of 2025.

The M2, a broad measure of money supply that covers cash in circulation and all deposits, increased 8 percent year on year to 325.17 trillion yuan at the end of April, according to the People’s Bank of China.
