Egyptian pound loses ground at Thursday’s close – CBE

The Egyptian pound dropped against the US dollar on Thursday, June 19, 2025, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 50.6106 and the selling rate at EGP 50.7106, compared with Wednesday’s rates of EGP 50.4956 for buying and EGP 50.5956 for selling.
