Gold prices edge higher on Aug. 20th

Spot gold prices increased on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:32 pm GMT by 0.36 per cent to $3,327.52 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,315.66.

Meanwhile, US gold futures inched up 0.35 per cent to $3,370.50 per ounce, up from Tuesday’s closing price of $3,358.7.
