Egypt’s Sisi receives UAE’s Mohamed bin Zayed in Cairo

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday received UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Cairo International Airport at the start of an official visit, the presidency said.

According to the presidency statement, the visit reflects the historic and longstanding ties between the two countries. Both leaders are committed to strengthening cooperation and building on decades of achievements since the founding of the UAE by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the statement added.

Sheikh Mohamed’s visit underscores the close political, economic, and strategic partnership that has grown between Cairo and Abu Dhabi.
