Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Thursday.
- The main index, EGX30 went up 0.29 percent to 37,687.04 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 advanced 0.69 to 3,855.79 points.
- The EGX35-LV index gained 0.31 per cent to 4,297.49 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.69 per cent to 12,079.8 points
- The EGX100 index surged 0.74 per cent to 15,836.66 points.
Egypt’s market capitalisation reached 2,738,524,284,568 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 118,581,009 pounds and 3,941,020,266 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with 4,059,601,276 pounds.

- Shares of Elsaeed Contracting& Real Estate Investment Company SCCD soared d14.41 to 1.270 pounds a share.
- Shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance jumped 10.74 per cent to 162.250 pounds per share.
- Shares of Misr Beni Suef Cement climbed 8.07 per cent to 176.730 pounds per share.
Top Losers
- Shares of October Pharma plunged 6.77 per cent to 200.930 pounds a share.
- Shares of North Cairo Mills sank 5.67 per cent to 127.910 pounds a share.
- Shares of Gadwa for Industrial Development dived 4.07 per cent to 1.180 pounds a share.
