Egypt has exported a shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Greece from its Idku liquefaction and export complex, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said on Saturday.
The cargo, loaded aboard the vessel GASLOG GIBRALTAR for Shell, amounted to around 150,000 cubic metres of LNG.
The ministry said the export is part of Egypt’s strategy to attract more foreign investment in gas production and to strengthen the country’s position as a regional energy trading hub.
