The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
- The main index, EGX30, went up by 0.07 percent to 42,065.2 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, advanced by 0.02 to 4,452.84 points.
- The EGX35-LV index gained 0.57 per cent, to 4,650.09 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 0.54 per cent to 13,011.42 points
- The EGX100 index surged by 0.51 per cent to 17,231.09 points.
Egypt’s cap market reached 2,969,240,910,145 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians were net buyers with 241,061,687 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, the Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 167,034,712 Egyptian pounds and 74,026,974 Egyptian pounds, respectively.
Top Gainers
- The shares of Raya Holding For Financial Investments went up by 15.31 to close at 3.390 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) soared by 8.69 per cent, closing at 11.630 per share.
- The shares of Arabia Investments Holding went up by 8.20 per cent, to close at 0.409 Egyptian pounds per share.
Top Losers
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment went down by 6.02 per cent, to close at 2.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Iron & Steel sank by 4.98 per cent to close at 33.380 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of South Valley Cement fell by 3.84 per cent closing at 8.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
