Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went down 0.59 per cent to 41,102.76 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 rose 0.10 per cent to 4,416.53 points.
- The index EGX35-LV advanced 0.26 per cent to 4,576.31 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 slipped 0.06 per cent to 12,849.2 points.
- The EGX100 index dropped 0.02 per cent to 17,034.69 points.
The total market cap reached 2,937,639,516,538 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 1,629,098,399 pounds and 1,058,142,124 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with 2,687,240,523 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 0.348 pounds a share.
- The shares of Digitize for Investment And Technology climbed by 20.00 per cent, closing at the price of 5.340 pounds a share.
- The shares of Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. jumped by 18.47 per cent, to the purchasing price of 1.860 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Arab Aluminum fell by 7.10 per cent, to close at 21.190 pounds a share.
- The shares of El Obour Real Estate Investment declined by 6.14 per cent, to close at 37.170 pounds a share.
- The shares of Arab Moltaka Investments Co dropped by 5.37 per cent, to close at the price of 5.110 pounds a share.
