Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, jumped by 1.40 per cent, to 43,952.52 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 1.38 per cent to 4,591.86 points.
- The index EGX35-LV rose by 1.35 per cent to 4,557.82 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, advanced by 1.95 per cent to 12,433.65 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 2.03 percent to 16,768.92 points.
The total market cap reached 3,017,967,755,157 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 60,470,115 Egyptian pounds and 16,434,486 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Arabs were net sellers with 76,904,601 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
- The shares of Arab Co. for Asset Management And Development surged by 11.56 per cent, closing at 1.930 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries rose by 7.31 per cent reaching 256.500 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Cairo Oils & Soap went up by 7.19 per cent to close at 1.490 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment went down by 3.46 per cent to close at 2.230 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of TransOceans Tours dropped by 3.13 per cent to close at 0.031 per cent a share.
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Copper For Commercial Investment&Real sank by 2.73 per cent, to close at 0.107 Egyptian pounds a share.
