Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly red on Tuesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went up 1.92 per cent to 46,054.61 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 1.59 per cent to 4,911.97 points.
- The index EGX35-LV added 0.81 per cent to 5,251.1 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 gained 1 per cent, to 12,511.59 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 1.09 per cent, to 17,488.25 points.
The total market cap reached 3,231,145,422,455 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 238,350,050 pounds, and 10,597,551,826 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net buyers with 10,835,901,876 Egyptian pounds
Top gainers
- The shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development went up by 10.14 per cent to 0.608 pounds a share.
- The shares of International Agricultural Products rose by 7.73 per cent to close at 19.790 pounds a share.
- The shares of U Consumer Finance jumped by 7.71 per cent, closing at 10.900 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of AJWA for Food Industries company Egypt dropped by 6.93 per cent to 117.730 pounds a share.
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment fell by 6.61 per cent to close at 2.120 pounds a share.
- The shares of El Ahram Co. For Printing And Packing sank by 2.89 per cent, closing at 12.430 pounds a share.
