URGENT: Egypt’s net FX reserves climb to $55.07 bln in June – CBE
Egypt’s net foreign exchange reserves rose to a record $55.072 billion at the end of June, up from $53.134 billion a month earlier, according to provisional central bank data released on Wednesday.
Net reserves increased by $1.938 billion, or 3.6 per cent month on month, extending gains in the country’s foreign currency holdings amid continued external inflows despite a challenging global economic environment.
