The latest reports issued by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), have revealed that Egypt’s External and domestic debts per capita surged by EGP 20.1 K at the end of last June, according to the high population which reached 92 million.
The reports explained that the domestic debt inched by EGP 16.7 K , whereas the external debt recorded US$ 489(EGP 3423), according to US$ dollar which is EGP 7.
The total domestic debt inched by 87.5% June-end 2013, move up by EGP 1.533 billion against EGP 83.3% March-end 2013.
While the external debt for the total domestic outcome registered 17.3% June-end 2013, move up to US$ 43.23 billion in June-end, against 14.9% at the end of March.
