Egyptian Exports to Italy on the Top Record

Egyptian Exports to the Italian market have recorded the highest level in the history of commercial trading between the two countries.

Trading level has reached 2.5 billion Euros in 2011, with a growth rate of 31.5% when compared with level of 2010, which was 1.9 billion Euros, according to report issued by the commercial representing office in Rome.

The report clarified that the Egyptian exports of non-petroleum products recorded 1.2 billion Euros, while the petroleum products recorded 1.3 billion Euros.

Report added that Egyptian exports of non-petroleum were focused on fruits, vegetables, cotton, steel, iron, fertilizers, marble, garments, leathers, carpets, plastics, and cooper products.

To be mentioned that the size of commercial trading between Egypt and Italy; has recorded 4.8 billion Euros in 2010, and the most important Egyptian imports were iron, steel, electronic devices, chemicals, and cars.
