Spring Day boosts Occupancy in Sinai Hotels

Spring Day raised occupancy in South Sinai hotels to 70% because of the reservations both interior and foreign tourism.

Adel Shokry, the secretariat of South Sinai Hotels Chamber, explained that the occupancy rate increased this week because the Cops are celebrating Spring Day; especially the Russian, Italian and English tourism

“It is expected that the occupancy rate continue to increase due to the Egyptian tourism reservations during Spring Days which will start tomorrow till next Monday”.

He added that the hotels decreased the prices to attract customers and reactivate occupancy to reach 30%.

Salem Saleh, the director of Tourism Office in Sharm al Sheikh, said that the occupancy rate in 5 stars-hotels reaches 90% due to the offered promotions which will last during April. The tourism agencies’ promotions are between $500 and $600 including flight and stay.

Also the hotels in Cairo offered promotions to reactivate the occupancy which is between 30% and 40%.

The director of public relation in Semiramis –InterContinental Nabila Samak emphasized that the hotel launched Spring Day’s promotions to boost the occupancy rates. One of these promotions is the stay for 2 people per EGP 600.

She mentioned that the hotel was affected by closing downtown’s streets especially Kasr alainy St. as well Sheikh Rehan St.; explaining that the occupancy rate is between 30% and 40%. The hotel is working nowadays on meetings, conferences, businessmen and Libyan tourism groups coming to Egypt, in addition, the parties and conferences that depend on the local market.

 

On the other side, the director of public relations in Kempinski Nile hotel, Eman Al-yeski elaborated that the occupancy rate raised by 71% due to Spring Day’s reservation, the family tourism coming from Britain and European countries for celebration, in addition, the businessmen on both interior and foreign levels.
