Amid Fuel Price Rise, Vodafone Egypt Will Increase Prices for Services

An official Source in Vodafone Egypt revealed that in case of boosting fuel price Vodafone will increase prices for its services.

In a statements to Amwal Al Ghad the source asserted that till now signal-strengthening network stations did not face any dilemma as result of lack of petroleum aids, stressing the prices of services and goods will be affected by boosting fuel prices most notably telecommunication services.

The government announced earlier its intention to raise the subsidiary gradually for some materials and commodities that consumed the major part of subsidiary such as petroleum materials and fuel.

Mobile operators requested previously to coordinate between National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and Misr Petroleum Company so as to take separated line of fuel to ensure their acquisitions in mobile services.
