Azerbaijan will send within the coming few months a high-profile trade mission to Egypt encompassing 50 businessmen from large Azerbaijani firms, Egyptian trade minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour announced on Monday.
The delegation will discuss available investment opportunities and establishing new projects in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian private sector.
The Egyptian minister announced that on the sidelines of the economic joint commission meetings between Egypt and Azerbaijan that Cairo currently hosts in cooperation with officials from two states.
The minister noted that massive number of Azerbaijani firms showed keenness to know the available investment opportunities in Egypt, pointing out that the joint commission is a great chance to achieve communication between businessmen of two states.
During the joint commission held on Monday, Abdel Nour has met with Shahin Abdullayev – Azerbaijani ambassador to Cairo- to review the importance of developing and expanding commercial and economic mutual relations as well as reviewing available investment opportunities in both countries.
