Etisalat Egypt Expands Official Branches Across Egypt

Etisalat Egypt has raised its official number of branches and sales points to 1,100 across Egypt. As a result, it is the largest company among local mobile phones operators regarding the number of official branches.

According to Hassan Samy, Chief Sales Officer at Etisalat Egypt, the company’s expansion regarding its official branches aims to facilitate the operations of purchasing new lines for its clients in accordance with the new regulations set by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA).

The NTRA recently issued a decision prohibiting selling new mobile phone lines outside a company’s affiliated sales points. The decision also prohibited selling these lines in stores which belong to their accredited distributors. This decision was issued to control the sales of new lines and reduce the number of anonymous lines.

Samy added that these company’s expansions in branch numbers has increased the number of new employees, with the company hiring over 3,000 employees. After this expansion plan, Etisalat Egypt owns the most official sales points in Egypt. It also satisfies its clients’ needs, in accordance with the NTRA’s instructions and procedures regarding registering the sold lines, and ensuring that all the client’s data is defined as per the device.
