Misr Life Insurance Company has posted a 9 percent y-o-y growth to 203.5 million Egyptian pounds (US$25 million) during July this year, chairman Mohamed Ghazy announced Monday.
The Egyptian life insurer had posted 186.4 million pounds during July 2014.
Ghazy said that Misr’s individual life insurance policies recorded a total sum insured of 337.6 million pound during last July, compared to 329.5 million pounds in 2014, marking an increase of 2 percent.
Meanwhile, Misr’s group life insurance policies scored a total sum insured of 2.985 billion pounds during last July versus 3.121 billion pounds in 2014, marking a decline of 4.2 percent approximately.
