The Egyptian committee investigating the causes of the October crash of a Russian airliner in Central Sinai shortly after it left Sharm El-Sheikh Airport on route to St Petersburg said in a preliminary report it issued Monday that evidence surrounding the crash it has examined so far shows that the disaster might not have been caused by a terrorist attack or foul play.
The statement was made available to the media by the civil aviation ministry which heads the inquiry.
Ayman El-Moqqadam the head of the committee said that the investigation will continue until a final determination could be made.
