The first Egyptian-Tanzanian economic forum is set to take place in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam tomorrow with the participation of Tanzanian trade minister.
Chairman of Egyptian Chemical Export Council (CEC), Khaled Abu El Makarem stated Monday that more than 250 businessmen from two countries will take part in the forum to discuss means of boosting mutual investment and trade cooperation.
Abu El Makarem clarified that CEC is organising a delegation to join Tanzania International Exhibition that will kick off on 25-29 May, 2016, to promote Egyptian products.
The exhibition is set to take place on the space of 1,200 meters, including more than 51 Egyptian firms representing chemicals, fertilizers, engineering products, and building materials sectors, the official noted.
He pointed out that Egypt’s participation comes to open new markets for Egyptian products in Africa as Tanzania is a starting point to allow Egyptian products to enter a number of African states.
