Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC) is set to draw up a list of construction companies nominated to work in the state yet –unnamed new administrative capital city next month, its head Hassan Abdel Aziz said Tuesday.
The list includes companies operating in different fields of constructions, utilisation and housing with good experience, Adel Azizi noted.
The new capital of Egypt is a large-scale project announced by Egyptian housing minister Mostafa Madbouly during Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) on 13 March 2015.
Furthermore, leading construction companies such as Arab Contractors are forging an alliance with subcontractors to implement the infrastructure works of the first phase of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital city with in a time frame of two years.
The new Capital city phase I would include building 42.000 housing units on an area of 33.000 feddans. In addition, it would encompass designing and building the ministerial buildings, the biggest park in the Middle East and an artificial lake.
