Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning is likely to start works on Muharraq Grand Park project during the first quarter of 2018, a report said.
The development project has been included in the financial year 2017/2018, said the ministry was quoted as saying by a Bahrain News Agencty report.
In a statement the ministry said that the project will be carried out in two phases following the court ruling which ordered the previous investor to vacate the site, it said.
Bids will be invited for the construction of the fence, work for which will likely start during the last quarter of this year.
The ministry is now drawing up the engineering designs for the infrastructure work to start early next year, it said.
