EMAC Contracting, affiliated to Kuwait’s Al Kharafi and Sons Group, says it is executing a number of road flagships in Marsa Alam, about 220 km south of Hurghada.
Samir Fathy, EMAC’s chief executive, said Wednesday that his company plans to completed these projects within one year, with total costs worth 300 million Egyptian pounds ($17 million).
EMAC is currently negotiating with the Egyptian General Authority for Roads, Bridges, and Land Transport (GARBLT) to implement some additional road flagships in the final phase of the country’s new national road network, Fathy noted.
This phase includes six projects in Cairo and a number of other governorates, the official further stated.
