Egypt’s Housing Ministry plans to pump investments of 50 billion pounds into the county’s social housing project for low-income citizens.
This project will cover the implementation of 400,000 residential units for low-income people over the coming years, assistant housing minister for technical affairs Khalid Abbas said on Thursday.
The ministry has already invested about 100 billion pounds to execute 600,000 residential units as part of the aforementioned project over the past three years, Abbas added.
In August 2017, the housing ministry has launched the ninth advertisement for the social housing project in 22 governorates.
