CanWell to invest 400mn pounds into UCE’s phase II in Egypt’s new capital
Egypt’s CanWell Educational Consultants Group announced Wednesday that it plans to pump investments worth around 400 million pounds within the next two years to establish the second phase of the University of Canada in Egypt (UCE) in the state’s new administrative capital.
The university will include six faculties that will not be limited to Egyptian students only, but also for international students from Gulf and African countries, CanWell further said.
The project will cost two billion pounds over seven years, according to CanWell’s president Magdy Elkady.
On Monday, Egyptian Higher Education Minister Khalid Abdul Ghaffar opened the university’s first phase.
