Egypt’s state-owned Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC) bought 30,000 tonnes of sunflower oil and 6,000 tonnes of soybean oil in a tender, traders said on Wednesday.
The sunflower oil was bought from Louis Dreyfus at $1178.5 per tonne on a cost and freight basis. It is due for arrival between Aug. 20 and Sept. 10, the traders said.
The soybean oil was bought from Alex Seeds at 7295 Egyptian pounds ($1,200) per tonne and is due for delivery between Aug. 10 and Sept. 10, the traders said.
Traders said the offers in the tender were, in dollars per tonne, unless otherwise stated:
Toepfer 9,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $1189.21
