East Port Said Development to hand over land to BAG, Gerda in two weeks
East Port Said Development company is set to hand over 50,000 meter square to BAG East Port Said and Gerda Egypt to establish two new plants with investments of up to €70 million.
Ahmed Al Mufti the General Manager of Commercial Affairs, told Amwal Al Ghad that the company has received land from the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) at the end of October 2018 after completing the soil treatment carried out by Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
East Port Said Development Company is responsible for the development, management, and marketing of the East Port Said Industrial Zone, which has a total area of 16 million sqm. It is assumed that the development process will take place in several phases. The first phase of the project is 4 million sqm, expected to be completed in the coming five years.
East Port Said Development Company is one of the industrial developers working in East Port Said. It is the product of the partnership between the state and the private sector represented by the Industrial Development Group (IDG), Hassan Allam Construction Group (HA), and Samcrete Egypt Engineers and Contractors.
