Hilton Hurghada Resort is entering the second phase of a four-year room and public area renovation project.
The first phase of 80 rooms was completed in June 2018, and the second phase will renovate an additional 80 rooms with an expected completion time frame of Q2 2019. By the end of 2019, Hilton Hurghada Resort will have renovated nearly 60% of all frontline rooms in the resort, incorporating a contemporary design.
“The renovation implementation at Hilton Hurghada Resort showcases Hilton’s continued investment in Hurghada for the benefits of our valued guests,” said Gilaine Guirguis, General Manager of Hilton Hurghada Resort. “Since the renovation began, we have experienced an increase in occupancy of 12% over the previous year before the renovation, and a 35% increase in total revenue vs. last year.”
The positive impact of the renovated spaces on the guest experience is evident in the uptick in customer satisfaction. Since the renovation project began, Hilton Hurghada Resort has received positive feedback on online review platforms and is incorporating guests’ feedback into its renovation plans.
“We are planning the renovation schedule around the resort’s occupancy trends to ensure guests continue to have the same superior experience they’ve come to expect from Hilton and our resort,” explained Gilaine Guirguis, General Manager of Hilton Hurghada Resort.
Phases three and four of the renovation project will include the remaining 120 frontline rooms at the resort, as well as the main restaurant and lobby. All renovations are expected to be complete by 2022.
