Fawry for electronic payment and collection emphasized that it aims to sign contracts with three new banks to provide electronic collection services via its machines by the end of the current year.
Eng. Ashraf Sabry, CEO of Fawry, stated that the company has concluded a contract with a Lebanese bank “Blom,” pointing out that the company is currently holding negotiations with two other banks, which he refused to declare their names.
He also pointed out that the company cooperates with a number of financial institutions to receive bills via its machines, including the Central International Bank (CIB), Mashreq, Bank Audi, Credit Agricole Egypt, and others, in addition to a number of insurance companies that will be allowed to pay their premiums via the company’s machines such as Egyptian Takaful Insurance Company.
