Egypt’s Sukari: 160 Kg Gold Ore Sent To Canada

An official source from Sukari Gold Mine told Amwal Al Ghad that 160 kg of gold ore worth EGP 40 million have been released in the presence of representatives for the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) and for the Scales and Stamps Authority as well as for the insurance firm which is responsible for securing moving the gold ores to Cairo customs before exporting to Canada.

The source also noted that those amounts of gold will be sent to the labs in Canada so as to get refined, turned into 9999 stamped bullions so as to be sold through London Bullion Market.  The returns in U.S. dollar shall be transferred to Centamin Egypt’s account in the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
