Chartis Insures MEDCO’s Staff With EGP 200 Mln

Chartis Egypt Insurance Co. has signed a contract insuring the employees of MEDCO Company against personal accidents, said Mahmoud Hussein head of personal accident insurance department.

The insurance policy covers 1000 employees with value of EGP 200 million against death caused by accident, total permanent disability and permanent partial disability as well as covering the costs for the treatment of injury caused by an accident.

Chartis Egypt Insurance Co.  posted premiums of EGP 271 million in FY 2010/2011, compared to EGP 289 million from a year earlier, with a decline of 6%.
