Administrative Court keeps lawsuit of Military Trials

Board of State’s commissioners in administrative court kept the lawsuit against Minister of Interior Affairs to end the military trials for police officers.

Ali Salama, a police man, filed a lawsuit no. 43102 for 1965 to annul the ministers of Interior Affairs decision no. 992 for 1977 issued in April 14th last year that concerns the military trials for police men.

He emphasized that these military trials are against subject 184 of constitution which stipulates that the police authority is a civil one, consequently they are not to be court-martialed; referring that he informed the minister with the lawsuit on December 29, 2011.
