Asian Markets Briefing 14/03/2023

The Asian stock markets fell drastically in all of the major indices including the Chinese main index SSEC. The index fell by -0.72 percent to close at 3,245.31, when it opened at 3,261.92. SSEC recorded a day high value of 3,262.00 and a day low value of 3,216.99.

The Japanese index Nikkei 225 declined by -2.19 percent to 27,222.04, when it opened at 27,455.95. The index recorded a day high value of 27,455.95, and a day low value 27,104.75.

The main index in Hong Kong’s market, HSI, dropped by -2.27 percent to close at 19,247.96. The index opened at 19,524.51, recording a day high value of 19,639.52 and a day low value of 19,122.82.
