Asian Markets Briefing 20/03/2023

The Asian Markets dropped massively on Monday, despite the huge increase in all of the major indices on Friday. The Chinese main index SSEC dropped by -0.48 percent to close at 3,234.91, when it opened at 3,253.93. The index recorded a day high value of 3,267.99 and a day low value of 3,231.65.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, dropped by -1.42 percent to 26,945.67, and it had an opening value of 27,253.73. The index recorded a day high value of 27,367.18 and a day low value of 26,945.67.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, fell drastically by -2.57 percent to close at 19,017.07. It opened at 19,352.90 and recorded a day high value of 19,382.97, and a day low value of 18,829.11.
