Asian Markets Briefing 21/03/2023

The Chinese market witnessed an incline in its main index, SSEC, by 0.64 percent, after its drop yesterday. The index reached a value of 3,255.65, when it opened at 3,240.84. It also recorded a day high value 3,256.00 and a day low value of 3,237.89.

Nikkei 225, the Japanese main index, however, fell by -1.42 percent to 26,945.67. The index opened at 27,253.73, recording a day high value of 27,367.18 and a day low value of 26,945.67.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, rose by 1.39 percent to 19,265.61. The index recorded a day high value of 19,295.64 and a day low value of 19,018.10. It opened at a value of 19,118.87.
