Asian markets briefing 31/05/2023

The Asian markets closed low on Wednesday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, falling by -0.61 percent to 3,204.56, losing 19.65 points.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, dropped by -1.41 percent and lost 440.28 points to close at 30,887.88.

HSI, Hong Kong main index, inched down by -1.94 percent to 18,234.27, after it lost 361.51 points.
