BREAKING: intensive talks over Gaza truce underway

Intensive Egyptian and Qatari mediated talks for a Gaza truce are currently underway, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

In the new talks, the truce will include a ceasefire while Hamas returns some hostages in exchange for Palestinian hostages held in Israeli prisons.

The number of people set to go free is still being discussed.

According to a source telling Reuters, Israel is insisting that women and infirm male hostages be included.

Israel also said that Palestinians jailed for serious offenses could also be included in the deal as well.
