Brother of killed Israeli hostage says army ‘murdered’ him

The brother of one of the Israeli hostages killed by Israel said on Sunday that the army “abandoned” and “murdered” him.

Alon Shamriz, 26, was one of the hostages killed by Israeli soldiers on Friday was buried on Sunday.

The Israeli forces continued to shoot at them even after they carried a white flag and cried for help in Hebrew.

“Those who abandoned you also murdered you,” Ido, Shamriz’s brother, said at the funeral attended by dozens of relatives and family members north of Tel Aviv.

The killing of the three young men, all in their twenties, has sparked protests in Tel Aviv.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza killed around 20,000 civilians including more than 60 of the Israeli hostages.
