Egyptian Alfa Ceramic is seeking to achieve sales volume of 860 million Egyptian pounds (US$109 million) at the end of 2015, Hussein Ragab -PR and HR manager- stated Monday.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Ragab said that Alfa owns around four factories with total capacity estimated at 65,000 meter per day.
He added that company’s sales have declined by 20 percent lately due to market recession.
Manager Ragab added that manufacturing cost surged by 30 percent trigged by the increase in materials costs and the lack of needed dollar liquidity.
The current recession rate in the ceramic market exceeds 60 percent, the official clarified.
