Communications Ministry Employs Technology in 2000 Schools

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Education have finalized applying the smart school model on 2000 preparatory governmental  and 91 experimental  schools , in addition to providing  1500 schools with an access to Broadband internet.

The two ministries also intend to activate educational integration in 35 schools in the governorates of Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Aswan.  It is expected that the actual operation of this project should start by the middle of October.

 In his meeting with Minister of Education Dr. Ibrahim Ghoneim, Dr. Hany Mahmoud stressed on the need to promote cooperation between the two ministries during the coming period.

He also pointed  out  to the ongoing joint projects between the two ministries, including providing schools with an access to Broadband internet, launching training programs in cooperation with international IT companies, the pilot project for supporting the hearing and visually impaired, the  educational integration project, in addition to human development programs.
