DHL Seeks To Pump EGP500 Mln Investments In Egypt In 5 Years

DHL, the world’s leading cross-border express services provider, is planning to inject fresh investments in the Egyptian market estimated at EGP 500 million, said the General Manager on Tuesday.

Amr Tantawi, General Manager of DHL Egypt, told Amwal Al Ghad that the firm’s expansion strategy for the coming five years includes pumping more investments in the Egyptian market estimated at EGP 500 million.

Tantawi added that DHL’s expansion plans in Egypt also includes modernizing its air fleet in Egypt besides making more expansions to cover the new industrial areas in the country.

Meanwhile, Tantawi stressed that Egyptian market still represents promising investment destination for its low-cost manpower and its unique location in the region.
The political and economic stability would definitely contribute to alluring more investments to Egypt and to restore the high investment flow.
