Dina Abdel Fattah: Egypt c.bank governor addresses global solutions at IMF-WBG meetings
Dina Abdel Fattah, head of the PR agency responsible for covering the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) news, said on Friday that CBE Governor Hassan Abdalla has addressed key global challenges at the IMF World Bank Annual Meetings.
In a telephone interview with the Egyptian TV Channel One, Abdel Fattah said the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group Boards of Governors meetings are taking place after three years of suspension due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
The discussions at the Boards of Governors meetings focused on increasing the global financial institutions’ support for the developing countries to address the food crisis that looms due to the war in Ukraine and pandemic repercussions, she added.
Governor Hassan Abdalla has chaired the meetings and delivered a speech that highlighted the top priorities not just for Egypt but also for the whole world to solve the ongoing global challenges.
