The US dollar traded largely steady against the Egyptian pound in midday trading on Thursday, according to data from five major Egyptian banks.
As of 12:59 local time (09:59 GMT), the dollar averaged 52.89 Egyptian pounds for buying and 52.99 pounds for selling across the surveyed banks.
