Dollar v.s Egyptian pound at Thursday early interbank trade

The table below demonstrates the selling and buying prices of U.S. dollar against the Egyptian pound in 17 banks during Thursday’s interbank dealings in Egypt, according to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad.

Egypt’s central bank abandoned earlier in November the pound’s peg of 8.8 to the dollar in an effort to attract inflows of capital and close down a booming black market in dollars.
