Egypt’s door-knock mission to UK discusses healthcare, finance in day 2

The British Egyptian Business Association’s (BEBA) door-knock mission to the UK has kicked off its second day with two seminars discussing the opportunities and challenges of the healthcare and financing sectors in Egypt.

The first seminar has tackled the activation of the public private partnerships in healthcare, health insurance, and integrated health system as well as healthcare technology.

As for the second seminar, it discussed the financing sector, with the participation of Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait, Karim Hilal – Managing Director of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at Carbon Holdings; Sherif El-Kholy – Partner and Head of Middle East and North Africa at Actis; and Helmi Ghazi, Head of Global Banking at HSBC Egypt. It was also in the presence of  Ziad Bahaa El Din, Lawyer, Legal Expert and Former Deputy Prime Minister; Hossam Badrawi, Chairman of Badrawi Foundation for Education and Development; Ayman Essam, Head of Foreign Affairs Sector at Vodafone Egypt and Magdy Ishakhe Vice-Chairman of Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation.
