Egypt’s Construction Federation discuss Cooperation with African States

Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC) has met the heads of 12 African Federations for contracting ,quoted Hassan Abdel Aziz – Chairman- on Monday.

During the meeting, EFCBC has discussed the bilateral relations with the 12 countries that will provide Egypt’s construction sector with more new business opportunities during the upcoming period.

The African countries have large number of existent projects in infrastructure, roads and housing fields, which are promising for the Egyptian companies to seize and participate in so as to increase their work volume abroad, Abdel Aziz – also the chairman of African Federation for Construction Contractors Associations -asserted .

Furthermore, a meeting will be held between EFCBC and the African Federation for Construction Contractors Associations to discuss the new business opportunities and pave the way in front of the Egyptian companies.

The meeting will be attended by heads of African federation for contracting.

Abdel Azizi further stated that EFCBC will discuss the mechanism of preparing a unified category for companies and the possibility to set up a unified contract with outsourcing bodies.

Moreover, EFCBC will  investigate the fields of existent projects to connect their needs with the Egyptian contracting companies’ specializations.
