Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went up by 0.09 per cent to 50,532.7 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.23 per cent, to 5,707.52 points.
- The EGX35-LV index advanced by 0.38 per cent to 5,939.4 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70 surged by 1.15 per cent to 15,680.9 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 0.89 per cent to 21,330.57 points.
The total market cap reached 3,714,938,436,066 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers, with 1,022,658,097 pounds and 1,054,269,065 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 2,076,927,163 pounds.

- The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging went up by 20.00 per cent to 199.260 pounds a share.
- The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage climbed by 20.00 per cent to 2.100 pounds a share.
- The shares of Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing rose by 11.33 per cent to 12.380 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Tycoon Holding Company For Financial Investments dropped by 10.10 per cent to 27.510 pounds a share.
- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center sank by 8.36 per cent to 60.510 pounds a share.
- The shares of Catalyst Partners Middle East –CPME went down by 6.49 per cent to 18.000 pounds a share.
