Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.18 per cent, to 30,795.09 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 0.36 per cent to 3,183.67 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 climbed by 0.64 per cent, to 8,575.03 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 0.49 per cent, to 11,735.07 points.
The total market cap reached 2,263,346,710,474 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 42,208,468,972 Egyptian pounds, and 4,724,935,152 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were sellers with 46,933,404,124 Egyptian pounds.
Risers on Thursday
- Tanmiya for Real Estate Investment (TANM.CA) shares rose by 11.40 per cent, to close at the price of 3.810 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Cairo Educational Services (CAED.CA) shares climbed by 10.70 per cent, to trade at the price of 30.720 Egyptian pounds a share.
- M.B Engineering (MBEN.CA) shares jumped by 10.62 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
Fallers on Thursday
- East Delta Flour Mills (EDFM.CA) shares fell by 9.01 per cent, to close at 244.460 Egyptian pounds a share.
- North Cairo Mills (MILS.CA) shares declined by 5.90 per cent, to close at 37.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
- United Housing & Development (UNIT.CA) shares dropped by 5.39 per cent, to close at the price of 7.200 Egyptian pounds a share.
