Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green zone on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 0.72 per cent, to 56,676.16 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, rose by 1.28 per cent to 6,723.16 points.
- The index EGX35-LV soared by 1.65 per cent to 7,113.5 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, climbed by 1.48 per cent to 21,618.27 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 1.13 per cent to 28,213.87 points.
The total market cap reached 4,452,996,778,603 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 38,123,355 Egyptian pounds and 255,140,537 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net buyers with 293,263,892 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Sabaa International Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 6.300 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of Tanmiya for Real Estate Investment rose by 20.00 per cent, reaching 6.480 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of The Arab Ceramic CO.- Ceramica Remas went up by 20.00 per cent to close at 1.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of TransOceans Tours went down by 13.58 per cent to close at 0.070 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center dropped by 11.16 per cent to close at 77.290 per cent a share.
- The shares of Alexandria Flour Mills dropped by 7.57 per cent, to close at 157.180 Egyptian pounds a share.
